Finance and Banking Department – General Information

It is aimed to train qualified personnel who can work in the money and capital markets and banking sector, who are knowledgeable about the legislation required by the finance and banking sector.

In the restructuring of the sector, the implementation of new financial products in banking, the adaptation of new technologies, new lending policies, cooperation with the Balkan and European Countries Financial sectors constitute a very important place for Edirne and our University. Edirne will benefit from this in the short and long term. In addition, the fact that foreign trade financing and banking are resource-oriented (deposit) in Edirne is an advantage for the sectoral potential.

In addition to banking, this department will train qualified personnel in areas such as leasing, factoring, securities management and portfolio management. In this regard, cooperation will be made with various banks and institutions.

Students who will graduate from the program will be given the title of banker. Graduate students will be able to be employed in the banking and finance sector with the higher education institutions that provide education for this purpose.
